Built on the slopes of the Middle Atlas, Sefrou is one of the most typical and interesting north-eastern Moroccan cities and is located along the way that goes from Fez to the Atlas mountains. The city has hosted the bigger Jewish community in Morocco since 800 a.d., inside the Mellah. The ancient Medina, in the city centre, is sheltered by the defensive walls - still well-preserved and visible, and represents a place where time seems to have stopped. On the inside, along Oued Aggai river, the traditional city souq develops. The work undertaken by our research team focused on the survey and the diagnostic analysis of the empty space left by the Mellah destruction following the 1955 devastating flood. The survey and diagnostic operations were carried out during a Workshop that took place in the ¬¬¬¬Fes-Meknès region in May, 2017. The detailed study on Sefrou urban texture was conducted with direct survey methodologies along with 3D photogrammetry. The measurements taken during direct survey were used to scale the 3D photo-models.

Abstract
The measurements taken during direct survey were used to scale the 3D photo-models.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
