The essay analyses from a theoretical point of view the mechanisms and techniques of the Graphic Novel Adaptations of Classics. In the first part, the study places adaptation in the context of Remediation Studies. In the second one, it illustrates noted examples of this type of graphic novel. In this way, the extraordinary aesthetic position of this medium is highlighted in today’s literary production.
