Corpus Linguistics has often proved to be fruitful to examine different types of discourses and to compare them also from an interlingual perspective. In this paper we will concentrate on the Italian Cultural Heritage Discourse using the German and French Corpora Lessico dei Beni Culturali. We will focus our attention on recurrent lexemes and especially proper names in order to identify central places and persons of the discourse and on the keywords to determine relevant themes. Then we will concentrate on the Dome of Florence, reflecting on the preferred denominations and on the preferred collocations in both corpora. The main results of this analysis will be discussed.

Abstract
Corpus Linguistics has often proved to be fruitful to examine different types of discourses and to compare them also from an interlingual perspective. In this paper we will concentrate on the Italian Cultural Heritage Discourse using the German and French Corpora Lessico dei Beni Culturali. We will focus our attention on recurrent lexemes and especially proper names in order to identify central places and persons of the discourse and on the keywords to determine relevant themes. Then we will concentrate on the Dome of Florence, reflecting on the preferred denominations and on the preferred collocations in both corpora. The main results of this analysis will be discussed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
