Fat depot and fatty acid composition are strongly affected by feeding and rearing systems and this especially applies for autochthonous breeds, such as Massese dairy sheep. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of different farming and feeding systems on tissues composition of main commercial joints and fatty acid profile of different muscles of Massese lambs slaughtered at 70 days of age.
