The present chapter reviews the negative impact of perfectionism from two sides: first, elucidating the role of perfectionism in negatively affecting the well-being and job-related ‘capacities’ of workers; and second, highlighting the role of perfectionism in dysfunctional organizational outcomes. Lastly, viable strategies to prevent and ameliorate the negative effects of perfectionism in organizations are discussed.
