Abstract
Intergenerational participation in educational and learning processes related to bottom-up regeneration plays a key role in ensuring that such regenerative efforts are inclusive, sustainable, and reflective of diverse community needs. Engaging people of all ages enriches dialogue, strengthens community bonds, fosters empowerment, and promotes a culture of high-quality lifelong learning (Nussbaum e Sen 1993). It also contributes to the development of innovative and lasting solutions aimed at creating more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient cities and communities, in line with the goals of the 2030 Agenda. This contribution draws on the outcomes of a case study on the street education project “Ecosistema Giovani”, implemented by Coop. Cepiss in the Isolotto neighborhood, District 4 of Florence. It highlights the importance of intergenerational participation in processes of grassroots urban and social regeneration.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
