Testemunho: Espinoza nas bibliotecas florentinas

O presente trabalho tenciona homenagear o aposentamento do Professor Machado de Abreu apresentando os textos de Espinoza conservados nas bibliotecas florentinas. Trata-se de textos impressos e de um manuscrito do século XVII, traduções dos séculos XVII, estudos sobre Espinoza do século XIX, preservados na Biblioteca Nacional Central de Florença (BNCF) e na Biblioteca Riccardiana (BRFI); além de um exemplar de Niccolò Machiavelli e outro de Antonio Neri preservados na Biblioteca de Espinoza para evidenciar mais a ligação do filósofo holandês com a cidade de Florença. The aim of the following work is to celebrate the retirement of Professor Machado de Abreu, presenting Espinoza texts preserved in the libraries of Florence. Specifically: printed texts, one manuscript of the 17th century, translations of the 18th century, studies about Espinoza of the 19th century which are housed in the Central National Library of Florence (BNCF) and in the Riccardiana Library (BRFI); in addition to a copy by Niccolò Machiavelli and another one by Antonio Neri, housed in the Espinoza Library, to better highlight the relationship between the Dutch philosopher and the city of Florence.
