This research study aims at providing a hand kinematic model starting from the motion analysis. Furthermore, the model is used to develop a low-cost and portable hand exoskeleton to assist people affected by various functional impairments (e.g. grasping weakness, flaccidity, sensory deficit, hemiparesis) during their Activities of Daily Linving (ADLs) and to actuate suitable tasks for the rehabilitative training in order to restore the gestures of their hand.

Abstract
This research study aims at providing a hand kinematic model starting from the motion analysis. Furthermore, the model is used to develop a low-cost and portable hand exoskeleton to assist people affected by various functional impairments (e.g. grasping weakness, flaccidity, sensory deficit, hemiparesis) during their Activities of Daily Linving (ADLs) and to actuate suitable tasks for the rehabilitative training in order to restore the gestures of their hand.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
