This essay describes the main features and possible applications of the French LBC corpus, which has been compiled in the framework of Lessico multilingue dei Beni Culturali (LBC). First, the authors illustrate the main features of the corpus, with a special attention to the selected text genres and authors and selection criteria. Various possible linguistic uses of the corpus illustrating some options of the software are then presented. An evaluation of the current corpus configuration and outlook conclude the work.
