The rapid changes that have affected our time require teachers to be prepared to meet the challenges of an ever-changing global reality, to become culturally and pedagogically competent in creating suitable learning environments for all students, and to ensure valid educational opportunities for them. In order to achieve a progressive qualitative improvement in educational systems and teaching, international, European and national policy agendas have prioritized an equitable, inclusive and sustainable model of education that has seen the emergence of evolutionary pedagogy capable of bringing about desirable cultural changes on individuals and communities.
