This study examines the olive oil supply chain in Southern Lebanon, addressing challenges such as market access, environmental impact, and regulatory hurdles. Factors like UNIFIL's presence, regional geopolitics, and refugee camps further complicate the sector. Strengthening the supply chain requires targeted interventions, expertise, and adaptive strategies. This paper offers insights for policymakers and practitioners aiming to enhance the resilience and sustainability of Lebanon's olive industry.
